Back Pain Physiotherapy In London
Fix the Root Cause of Your Back Pain, Not Just the Symptoms
Whether your back pain is recent or something you’ve been dealing with for months, we help you understand what’s causing it and guide you step-by-step back to full function.
Why Your Back Pain Keeps Coming Back
Most people don’t struggle because they haven’t had back pain treatment.
- The root cause of their back pain was never clearly identified
- Treatment focused on short-term relief
- There was no structured plan beyond reducing pain
Pain improves and then comes back, sometimes worse than before.
At Fit2Function, we break that cycle by identifying the cause of your back pain and building a structured recovery plan from day one.
Our Approach to Back Pain Treatment
Every client we see suffering with back pain, follows a structured 4-step process:
We identify exactly what’s causing your back pain, whether that’s disc irritation, joint restriction, muscle imbalance or movement dysfunction.
We reduce back pain and improve movement using hands-on therapy and advanced treatments where appropriate.
We address the underlying causes of your back pain, through targeted rehabilitation, helping you rebuild strength and stability.
We take you beyond recovery, building resilience, so your back can handle daily life, training or sport, without recurring problems.
We focus on long-term results.
What happens on your first visit
We take the time to understand your issue fully, explain what’s happening and outline exactly what needs to be done to achieve long-lasting results.
This is not a quick fix, it’s the starting point of a structured recovery process.
- A full assessment of your back pain
- A clear diagnosis explained in simple terms
- Hands-on treatment where appropriate
- A structured treatment plan outlining exactly what to do next

ANNA also gave a plan which he can do along side his training to keep him fit! She is worth her weight in Gold!Posted on Mckenzi SagerJuly 19, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been working with George at Fit to Function on and off over the past year, and I can’t recommend him enough. I was dealing with stubborn bicep tendinitis that just wouldn’t go away, but George completely sorted me out. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I also love the new location — clean, professional, and easy to get to. If you’re struggling with any tendon issues, I highly recommend trying shockwave therapy here. It made a huge difference for me!Posted on Yemi OgunsJuly 19, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve had some neck pain for a while, same with my right toe and thumb joint from football injuries. George and Conor were very welcoming. George really helped me in understanding the cause and telling me the right treatment before administering it. Completely recommend!Posted on Yves RMJuly 19, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. OMG amazing clinic, solved my issues and can run again. I went to Fit2Function for my ankle and had Anna Jancsurák as my Physiotherapist. She was amazing and so thoughtful and kind and very helpful in my rehabilitation. She explained everything very thoroughly and is very knowledgeable and showed me very helpful excersicesPosted on Oli EstrellaJuly 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am currently being treated by Anna at Fit2Function for recurring knee issues. Anna is a fantastic physiotherapist: knowledgeable, professional, thorough and exceptional at her job. After only 3/6 sessions, and keeping up with physio outside of official appointments (don't skip this step), my legs are stronger and my knees no longer ache throughout my long, active workdays. I cannot recommend Anna enough, and I am safe in the knowledge that, should I ever have any body-related issues, I will be in safe hands with her.
Back Pain FAQs

No, when done correctly, exercise is one of the best ways to manage and prevent back pain. We’ll guide you through safe, effective movements that support your recovery.
How to sleep with back pain?
Try sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees, or on your back with a pillow under your knees. A supportive mattress can also help.

Movement, stretching, heat or cold therapy, manual treatment and targeted exercises can all help. Our team will tailor a plan that suits your specific symptoms and lifestyle.
How long to see an improvement for my back pain?
